征服自己

最近因为听多了好友们攀爬沙巴神山的分享
于是打从心底坚定明年我也要去登山
我想籍着爬山的毅力
希望能够克服我的心理障碍
因为我有惧高症

我想征服的不是那座古老的神山
而我要征服的是我自己
毕竟世界是征服不了的
别人也是征服不了的
但是只要能够把自己征服了
也就能够征服别人
也才能够征服世界

话说回来，我真的能够征服自己吗？
衰老来了，我能征服吗？
疾病来了，我能征服吗？
死亡来了，我能征服吗？

在面对困境一筹莫展时
我能否征服自己的脆弱？

在春风得意踌躇满志时
我能否征服自己的狂傲？

在怀才不遇失意孤独时
我能否征服自己的消沉？

在手握权柄前呼后拥时
我能否征服潜在的浅薄？

在面对闹市喧嚣时
我能否征服自己的浮躁？

在生活安逸时
我能否征服自己的懒惰？

在种种诱惑面前
我能否征服自己的贪婪？

在面对各种矛盾、纠葛容易感情用事时
我们能否征服自己的冲动？

因此我觉得征服别人
是那么轻而易举
甚至征服世界也还容易
但是征服自己的心
可就难如登天了

征服自己就是面对自己
解剖自己，挑战自己、磨练自己
征服自己就是向各种负面情绪和消极思想抗争
就是向自身潜在的假丑恶开火

征服自己不容易
这是因为它没有他人的参与
没有人要求
没有人监督
甚至没有人喝彩
一切斗争和过程
都展开在内心和灵魂深处

因而，征服自己
需要高度的自觉
需要极大的勇气
需要坚忍不拔的毅力
需要持之以恒的意志
征服自己的过程
就像珍珠在沙石的磨砺中
痛苦孕育的过程
缺乏那么一种精神
恐怕难以征服自己。

希望明年我顺利登山之后
能够学会征服自己
使我真正走向成熟
把那内在提升的力量
从而推动我往后的人生
走向成功，趋于圆满

救人一命

昨晚下课后回家途中，LY小姐告诉我说她很喜欢阅读我的BLOG，顿时我的脸颊感到热烘烘的，有点害羞咯！毕竟我的部落格都是写些杂七杂八的，并且又非常无聊的帖子，想不到还会有人如此喜欢，还真是受宠若惊呢！

过后她还告诉我说她的其中一个朋友，最近因为失恋，情绪非常低落，便不时简讯LY诉苦，还说想要结束生命之类的话语，LY听多了也开始显得不耐烦，于是转发我部落格里头的其中一个文章给她的那位朋友。不久，她的朋友读了之后，已经逐渐走出阴霾，生活也明显有些转变。

听了之后，心里非常高兴，因为实在想不到我这个废到极点的部落格，还可以发挥救命的功能；相对的，我的压力也越来越重，因为我这部落格随时都有人在看，所以决不能随便乱写算了，往后的题材方面也得费心编写，hmm...看来我还是得双语交替才行了，我答应你，只要时间允许，我会继续写下去的 :)

缘聚缘散

曾经天真的以为

不管时间和空间的距离有多长多远，

认错

很抱歉，今天写这个
并不是来为优客李林打歌的。
写这篇帖子的心情是蛮沉重的。
我说了不该说的话；
欺骗了不该骗的人。
总是生气我自己，
气我的愚痴、气我的种种...

事到如今，
话...都已经脱口而出，
业因...也因此产生了，
我只得甘心承受这一切的因缘果报。

此刻在我脑海里，
浮现出一个曾经听过的故事：

很久很久以前
山上有两间庙宇
A庙的沙弥总是经常吵架
B庙的沙弥却一团和气
于是A庙的住持前来请教B庙的沙弥：
"为什么你们的庙宇能够保持愉快的气氛呢？”
小沙弥答道：
“因为我们经常做错事”
正当A庙住持开始疑惑的时候
一位沙弥匆匆由外归来
走进大厅时不慎滑了一跤
正在拖地的沙弥就跑向前去：
“师兄对不起，把地板拖得太湿是我的错"
刚才摔倒的沙弥，不慌不忙的爬起身：
“不！不！都是我的错，是我自己太不小心了"
A庙住持看了这一幕，心领会神，他找到答案了...

你在这故事里头看到了什么呢？

往往，我们为了保护自己而推卸责任或与人争吵，
殊不知认错未必是输，
因为认错不但能表现出个人修养，
反省自己激励向上，
甚至可以化暴戾为祥和。

朋友间发生冲突，
如有一方能先认错，
战火必然马上平息一半。

转换一下角色，
今日的你或许是来日的我，
设身处地为对方着想也反省自己，
那么，处理事情的模式将会是另外一番风貌。

渺小的你我
或许并无能力为世局扭转乾坤，
但若每个生命个体能培养勇于认错、
对自己的行为负责的态度，
相信那股内心的平安与喜乐，
将会不断的扩散。

单纯

刚过去的周末夜晚，有幸和几位好友:X小姐、G小姐和S小姐结伴到Jalan Kayu去吃夜宵，我们痛快地吃喝、也不时闲话家常，当时我们的话题都围绕在单纯这个字眼里。

单纯是什么？我想是一种对世界本质的全然相信。常听到有人叹息想回到童年，大声疾呼地要留住童年，留住单纯，单纯的价值在此可见一般。他似乎是属于生命本身的一种东西，缺少不得。而可悲的是，在成长的过程中，我们几乎注定要失去单纯，就像手握细沙，紧紧抓住却更流失了它，即使是强行留下的单纯，也是那种属于童年的东西，是种掺杂着幼稚和无知的混合物，在当今混杂的社会，只是拥有这种混杂单纯的本身就是以造成指明的伤害。好在失去之后，还可以重寻。

单纯不是幼稚，更不是无知，它应该是一种对生活对世界本质的完全相信，相信痛苦的背后会有幸福，相信背叛和欺骗的背后会有善良，相信在这个宣泄的的庞杂的背后总有些支撑着世界运转的东西。比如说：爱，相信是最为本质的，相信幸福，你才想到要去追寻。人们知道爱的美妙，才会如此渴望去拥有。我们会在探索人生时，对人生，乃至探索本身都产生了怀疑。这种动摇是可怕的，稍遇不幸便会像绝堤的洪水一样摧毁了生的希望，因而我们需要单纯，而这种重寻却是人生经历了许多可怕的，不幸经历之后从另一个更高的层面上对单纯的回归。

人生于单纯却必须重寻求。这仿佛是个深化，提纯的过程，因为人生必定永远向前，与种种异己的一切打交道，是沦落其中，还是从更高的层面回归原来全在我们自己。在我们被花花世界弄的眼花缭乱的时候，不妨找回最初的那种渴望和自信，也许就在那一刻，我们会发现一个不同的世界，朗朗晴空，一个崭新的世界砰地冒了出来. . . . .

乐观人生

很多时候
常常觉得我们
只会懂得悲天悯人
不知道感恩戴德

我常做一个比喻
作为一个人
能够活在这个宇宙上
就是一件最幸福的事情

你成为一个人的可能性有多少？
有多少个可能性都错过了
最后只有那么一丁点
半秒钟都差不了的

无数的可能性结合在一起
你才那么巧合地来到这个世界上

所以我说
宇宙万物，生而为人，大幸也！
好不容易做了一个人
有什么亏不能吃
什么痛苦不能经受
所以小的事情我们可以不满
但整体上我还是一个乐观的人

Yummy Station

Dear Buddies, Last night I had accidently bumpped into a new blog called: YUMMY STATION

I found that the blog I mentioned very interesting, from there I could also know more & more "Makan" spots in town... But too bad, those food photos always make my saliva keep drooling & drooling, my stomach also become hungy & hungy...

Cheh Puey Kee (Fly Home)

I had confirm book my CNY flight at Air Asia today.

U know what... my both way air ticket just cost me only RM133.30,
which means convert to SGD baru $65.

$65 is much more cheaper than my single trip bus ticket back to hometown. Each year I had to pay abt SGD$90++ for my CNY bus ticket... I just feel like kena Katok... what to do... CNY one year one time nia mah... so no choice I had to pay for it & heart pain later on.

Next year, I decided not to travel in such expensive way liao... so I had to book my flight ticket as advance as possible. This is what I'd learn from most Singaporean - the spirit of Kiasu...

My goodness... Early booking can help me save so much $$$，
further more I'm also entitled to get their promotion package which each air ticket just only RM0.90 (exclude from tax).

RM0.90 can't even buy a bowl of Wantan Noodle or a glass of Milo ice nowadays... I was so happy, just like I'm kena TOTO or 4D like that... haha

Just one thing that made me sakit kepala is... how I gonna travel from Singapore to Senai Airport? The distance between singapore to senai is not that near lo... If I take bus... I had to change bus & change bus & transfer a few trip... the travel time might be longer also... If I take taxi, also may cause me Pecah Poket... Hai
had to search for help liao... hmm... let me think on this...

Children's Day Promotion

Haiya... Haiya... Calling all Papa Mama, fast fast bring your childrens to our Teahouse... We got something Special for them... Just one day promotion, Hurry oh :)

Dinner @ IKEA

I was heading to IKEA this evening to buy some DIY furniture & some stuff to decorate my room. After that I was having dinner at their restaurant.


At first I would like to try their famous Meat Balls...
Mana tau there's beef as their meat ball ingredient...
too bad I couldn't eat beef...


So I decided to choose their vegetarian Bee Hoon...
It was not cheap actually...
A plate of bee hoon like this cost me abt $7.50
The taste was so so only... not really good enough lo...

Hmm... probably I would rather order their Spaghetti on my next round visit...

Midnight Supper

Gosh... I had put on weight...
Coz I was addicted to having supper recently...

However I enjoyed so much having supper with all my friends,
we usually went to Jalan Kayu to try on MAMAK foods

Guess what's my favourite?



Haha... It's 2 pieces of egg prata, 1 plate of Maggie Goreng & 1 big glass of Teh Tarik... Hmmm... so yummy... the food there very nice... if drop by may go to try out :)

Golden Miku Bread

Yesterday afternoon, I was taking a little bit free time during my lunch break... So I decided to make a bread...


Firstly, all you need was these main ingredients:
Plain Flour, Dried Yeast, Milk Powder, Butter, Egg, Water, Sugar & Salt.


Then Mix all ingredients into a dough form...


let the dough sleep (rest) for quite a while...


Then bring it out & shapped it in any shape you wish...


After that placed it into oven for baking process...


Tadaa... Golden Miku finally done...

since they're celebrating their 3rd Anniversary this August :)

Avocado Milkshake

Hey Buddies, It's weekend tomorrow... Got anything to do bo?

Just wanna share with you all
the latest receipe for my cafe's new drinks called:

AVOCADO MILKSHAKE


1st you'll need the main ingredient:
Halved and peeled avocado


Then place it inside the blender jug,
with 1/3 glass of sugar syrup.


Added in a glass of ice cubes
together with Fresh Milk


Blended it for 2~3 minutes


Here you go, you may now enjoy with these fresh & healthy drinks... It's very easy to do right :)

p/s: you may also replaced the ingredient to Mangoes, Bananas & any other fruits...

& CRASH at the corner

get a new laptop
still feel heart pain

让它们保持各自的不同温度
喝起来很有意思

咖啡
是世界上最古老的饮料
它所散发出来的味道
都是一以贯之的古老和醇厚
其独特的香味与酸苦味
深深吸引了不少咖啡爱好者

Special Guest frm Taiwan

Dear Buddies, how's life recently? I'm fine & so sorry to let you all worried the past few months...

Well... Thanks for all your concern & well wishes... my cafe's business was getting stable & stable recently... During the past few months, I feel so honoured to have a special guest visited to my cafe.


I belived you all known him as well... He's well known Taiwanese celebrity chef Chen Hong 陈鸿. Chen Hong, better known as Ah Hong, has melted many hearts through his super quick and easy recipes.

Previously, the celebrity chef also hosted a programme called Ah Hong Shang Chai 阿鸿上菜(Ah Hong Cooking Up A Storm) which was a success in his homeland Taiwan.
He's tall, fit and handsome with twinkling eyes and a disarming smile, Chef Chen Hong is a favourite with those Aunties & Ladies.

For those who is not much familiar with him, may also watch his culinary programme called Hong's Kitchen airs on ntv7 from 4.30pm to 5pm every Saturday starting Jul 5.

He's using my cafe as their programme shooting place... He's was so nice to show me on how to improve on both my cafe's food & bussiness... Really thank to him so much... He also left me his contact number for me to look for him the time when I visit Taiwan in future :)

Chiak Kim... (eating gold)

Last weekend, during my visit to a largest japanese supermart located at Liang Court Basement... everything's inside made me full of surprise... not only the japan imported goods, the prices also shocked me until "kaki lembek"...

Wah... a mini size of watermelon cost nearly SGD48.50, a mini size of Honeydew also cost about SGD59!!!

Gosh... if you were there, would you gonna buy those?

Hi buddies, I'm back to blog now... well... thanks for all your concern & well wishes, my cafe's business still considered good...

At first day of the opening... there were too crowded until there's a long queue outside of my cafe... I'm there also "kelam-kabut".... feel very "kin cheong" lor... but Thank's to buddha, everything's fine now :)

I'm glad that everyone like my hand-made coffee... I'm now rather become a kopi-kia liao... hehe :p
