Final Countdown

Yes... there's 3 more days to go... It's actually a big day to me... Dun any how think lar... Not Kahwin lar...!!! It's actually my new cafe [滴水坊 Waterdrop Tea House] will start business on this coming Saturday...

I feel very "Gan Cheong" & stressed during the setting up period... there's many thing I had to handled... Had to rush here & there like crazy ppl to get more resources... no wonder my fella volunteer friends keep saying me losing weight & getting slimmer recently... I dont know should happy or not... I'm also didnt notice that.... my time was running out... mana have mood to look at myself ler...

Anyway... for those whoever staying in Singapore or those who have relative & friends staying in Singapore... ask them quick quick visit to my cafe & "kao Kuan" sama saya lar... I belanja* you drink my nice nice kopi ok :)

Food Photo Session

Today... I had a try on cooking some food according to our cafe's menu... the experience was very great & I had a bit Kelam-Kabut coz there some ingredients I forget to prepare...

It's actually a taiwan local delights eg: Fried Golden Tofu, snacks, mini dumplings, fried rice & Noodles... here you go the pics :)

Finally there's a break for me since 2 0f my newly hired assistance already started work with me today... I no longer had to [bao kah liao], we can share workloadssss
(since It's not easy to start a cafe, there's many thing had to follow up, so I put many sssss lor) together... yippee...

Si Lang Kopi

Hi buddies, yes... It's almost 3am in the morning & I'm still here to updating my blog...U know why?

It was because due to the installation of coffee maker machine in my new cafe today... and then we decided to try processing some coffee for few times so that we could get an accurate setting on the machine (for calibration purpose)... ended up I drink & drink & drink so many cups of espresso coffee, latte & machiatto... OMG! ended up my eye now still open big big lor...

I think hor... the following days I'll also face with the same conditions because there's more trial on various type of coffee & tea on the go... very chek ark lo...

Maybe next time round i should snap some of my cafe's photo to share with you in my next coming post... so remember to check back here more often oh :)

Food & Hospitality Asia fair - FHA2008

Yesterday I had been visited to Expo for an exciting Food & Hospitality Asia Fair 2008 (FHA in short). There were many F&B exhibitor to promote their service & products... Lucky I'm there, I had gather lots of useful information which would help me a lot on my newly opened cafe.

Beside that, do you know what was I interest most at there? YES... It's Foods... Let's enjoy the dessert photos :)

Taiwan Feng Shan City

It was nearly end of my stay in Taiwan... I'm now in Feng Shan City near Kao Shiong Taiwan... The environment there much like Penang... The People there very friendly & nice... What I couldn't forget most was my motorbike driving experience in Taiwan... Very SHIOK lar... My friend lend me a motorbike & we go tour around in Kao Shiong City... but what I kancheong most that there were road blocked by police during my way back to my hostel... You know lar... I got no Taiwan License mah... so I try to pretend like Taiwan Local born people... Lucky the police didn't block me... Pheeww... very lucky lar... ok here you go some Taiwan photos, hope you like it :)

Friendly Taiwan hawkers selling Taiwanese Local Delights... They even treat me with some local foods for FREE when get to know I'm from Singapore & would like to post their photo for advertising... So when you come to Taiwan... must go visit them ok :)

There was a big fat pig walking down the street... It's very very funny & I quickly snapped this photo... If this happend in Malaysia... those "Huan Kia" will run away like crazy... hehe :)

Great Buddha in Fo Guang Shan

Dear Friends, long time didn't update my blog liao... do you all forget me liao kah??? haha :)

I was now in Feng Shan, a part of Taiwan Kao Hsiung City... I was now undergo a study & research on our cafe's management & operation skills... I learn a lots during my one month trip in Taiwan... I had went to several place in Southern Taiwan like Tainan City, Kao Hsiung City, Taiwan Fo Guang Shan (I like the place) & Feng Shan City.

I found that most of the peoples in Southern Taiwan are very very friendly... Luckily there were no problem for me with their conversation... They used to speak Mandarin & Taiwan Hokkien... I can understand them & they could understand mine too... sometime the feel very strange why I know so much about their culture & their special term... of course lah... I did watch thier Taiwanese TV programme mah... I could also sing Hokkien songs during our KTV session with some of my Taiwan Friend... Glad I could speak Hokkien & pround to be part of Hokkien people too:)

One more thing I wanna share about their on-aired TV programme, they got so many channel... I prefer with their variety programme eg: Happy Go Go Go, Guess Guess Guess & the most popular singing contest Xing Guang Da Dao... I also like to watch their 2hrs news start on 8pm everynite...

OK, nite is getting late here... had to rest early coz I still had to visit several cafe the next day... till then... take good care & do check back here more often oh :)

Greeting from Tai Nan

Dear Friends, I was safely in Taiwan recently... I was now in Tai Nan city. the weather here is very cooling & refreshing... it's abt 23 degree celcious, it's much like our air-cond temperature, so no need to wear jacket... I found that taiwan traffic was totally difference like what we see in Malaysia & Singapore, the traffic was in reverse way... When I cross the road also had a bit scared ler... The air condition in taiwan was totally not good... It's fully polluted & seems hazy. But what I like in Taiwan is their delicious foods... It's so yummy & you'll find it everywhere...
haha :)

My trip here in Tai Nan is mainly to observe the opening of Tai Nan DSF cafe. It was our sister company too... there got several branches worldwide & we'll open ours soon in Singapore.

Going Taiwan

Sorry guys for the late update of my blog, currently I was still in my Hometown - Kangar, It's not very convinience to update online coz my house has no internet connection... I just only able to online at a cybercafe in my kampung town area.

So long didn't hear from yours liao... wish all of you everything's fine & "Soon Soon Lee Lee" :)

Well... Just to update my status through my blog that I would be going to Taiwan Soonest. my flight schedule would be on 14th March... I'll be staying there probaly a month & It's mainly for my new job training... Hopefully I'm able to complete every task during these period...

So do pardon me for no any update of my blog from now onwards until I'm back to SG in middle April... However I'll try to update if I manage to online in Taiwan later... I'll sure post more photos on Taiwan best tourism spots & of course the FOOD photos :)

When you ask what was the hottest news in the beginning of 2008? I'm sure most of the people would reply you with the same answer... That was the sex scandal which is rocking Hong Kong & all over Asia right now.

Hundreds of explicit photos of Edison Chen and starlets, including singer Gillian Chung and actresses Cecilia Cheung and Bobo Chan were posted on the Internet after police say the files were stolen from Chen's laptop computer when he took it in for repairs.

Actually... This kind of tragedy not just only happened recently... I believe we could also found sex photos in the past old centuries... I believe our grand grand grand father also had seen this before... not believe? you see this lar...



During the past few weeks when I went to zoo to pay respect to Ah Meng (the famous orang utan in Singapore). I accidentally see a zoo keeper secretly give the photo to a pair of orang utan couple... I'm curious & ask that zoo keeper what was the photo actually, then he smiled a say: "Aiyoh.. It's just a kind of Sex Photo lar... just wanna let them start to Ush...!Ush...! (Make love) & gave born a new orang utan to replace Ah Meng in future" I ask for the photo & he show me this:
